Plain English for clear Ground/ATC Communication!
Fresh off the shelves, Aviato Academy introduces the groundbreaking Mandatory Plain English Training Program. All airports are required to achieve compliance by the end of 2025.
Effective verbal communication at airports relies on standard ICAO phraseology; however, there are situations where clear, plain-language communication in English is necessary.
Challenges in plain language exchanges between Air Traffic Control (ATC), Ground Staff, and Flight Crew have contributed to serious incidents and accidents.

To address this, we've developed a comprehensive Plain English language training program encompassing 20 airport scenarios not covered by ICAO phraseology. Our training equips your airside staff to handle unforeseen situations, efficiently communicate with ATC and ground personnel, and empowers less confident English language staff to ensure smooth and safe airport operations.
